Garden walk parking

So I took a half day at work yesterday to go on a little daddy daughter date to Disneyland.

Since the trams are down we’ve been parking at gardenwalk. 12.50 with validation, same distance to the park (albeit with stop lights,) and the less hectic Harbor side security.

They always ask us to spread the word about the parking there and I usually don’t, but yesterday’s interaction was funny enough that I think they deserve a shout out:

I thought it was automated so I sent in the little joke more as a way to amuse myself in the web slingers line than do actually amuse anyone else (again, I’m a dad, it’s what we do.) Didn’t expect a reply, let alone free parking.

(I think the free parking had more to do with the fact that the validation didn’t come for an hour or two since my first validation message to them.)

Either way, if you are looking for places to park while the teams are down, garden walk is a great option. Just text your ticket number and AA to the screenshotted number.

That's a great dad joke.

Thanks for sharing both!

I'm glad I saw your post! I was trying to figure out a place to park for a quick trip into the park on our day of arrival. I couldn't stomach paying $30 for 3 hours in the park. I'm assuming the validation was for purchasing something at one of their stores? I'd also consider parking there for the full day in the park vs. the price and the added hike to any of the Disney parking lots.

Nope. Validation mentioned is specifically for Disneyland Parking.
For a quick 3 hour trip it’s actually cheaper just paying the hourly rate though.

How do you get the 50% discount? On the website, it only shows the full Anaheim Attraction rate as $25.
