When we went to PBH in July of 2002, we were upgraded to a Deluxe room with the incredible bathroom. This was all for 145.00 a night; I miss those times. Anyway, this year we are staying in a standard garden view room because I am too tight to pay the extra for the deluxe, about $100.00 for the four night stay. I am a Loew's member and will ask for a possible upgrade at check-in. I know there is no guarantee and I am just trying to find out from someone just how much smaller is the standard bathroom compared to the deluxe bathroom. Appears to be about 25 square feet of difference for the room and I believe that is all in the bathroom. (seems like I'm answering my own question, lol) What is the configuration of the standard? Will it be uncomfortable with four of us and am I now too spoiled to not have it? I just love, love this hotel. Thanks for the help.

It is in the bathroom. Garden doesn't have the separate shower or the window over the bath tub.

There was just a poster that returned from PBR. (look for the post) They stayed in the standard and reported the bathroom to be a good size.

We don't like the idea of the Deluxe bath with a family, because there is no way to shower and not be exposed to everyone else trying to use the sinks, etc.
With the standard Garden room, the bathtub/shower combo has a privacy shower curtain.
