In the planning stages for trip next year with my daughter and her husband. It will be his first trip. :goodvibes

My daughter and I love the Tea at the Garden Tea room. We are planning on using it as a late light lunch on arrival day. Her husband probably wouldn't enjoy any of the "grown up" teas and we don't want to leave him by himself right off the bat.

He would love the Mrs. Potts tea though. Do you think they would let an adult order it? I would be willing to pay for double order as I realize the portions would probably be small.

I don't see why not. Also, if you like certain ones of the finger sandwiches, but not some of the others, let them know so that they only bring out the types that you like. Enjoy! I love it there! :cloud9:

Just a head's up...

Back in 2009, I tried ordering the Mrs. Pott's tea for my then 10 year old and 15 year old DDs and was told by the server that it was only for children 3-9 years old. I ended up ordering from the adult menu and finishing off the leftovers! ;)

Can't hurt to try, though....hope you have better luck than I did...

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure we will figure out something. Maybe they will let us substitute the sandwiches for ones he likes. I think the rest of the meal he will be okay with.

I believe he can get French press coffee there. My sons (four of them are adults) and my DH all love the Garden View Lounge for tea!

They let my DD sub (she was 13 at the time) with the sandwiches from the Mrs Potts - it doesnt hurt to ask - :wizard:

DH always enjoys this time - it is a quiet time, and a time devoted to talking and sharing - there is such value in this peaceful place!!
