I'm taking my mom to disney next fall and I think we'd both enjoy lunch at the Garden View Tea Room. I'd love some photos/reviews, please!

I took my mom to the afternoon tea a few years ago. We both loved it and have been back several times since! Everything is very elegant and the service has always been great.

We always get the Grand Tea which is fun because you get to sample everything, PLUS you get champagne, which is fun. ;)

I have pictures at home but not here on my work computer.

Definitely try it, though. You won't be disappointed!

I have taken my 2 daughters there and they loved it since they are tea drinkers. I also took my mother to celebrate her birthday and she loved it as well, but she liked the food more since she doesn't drink a lot of tea. The Buckingham Palace is so filling you can call that lunch. When my mom and I went, we got ala carte. We each got a pot of tea and the sandwiches and then shared the scones and strawberries. And I was still stuffed.

Don't worry about what you wear, whatever you wear will be fine. We wore shorts and nicer shirts and sandals but not tank tops; that's just our preference. My mom and I actually wore nicer Halloween t-shirts since we were on our way to the Halloween party. I've seen everything from tank tops and flip flops on people coming from the parks on a hot day to groups wearing nice dresses and business casual celebrating an event. Here are some photos I took.

Jennifer I'd really really love to see your photos but they didn't show up?

Thank you all for your advise. I am positive now we'll go:)

That's really odd, I can see them. Wonder why you can't? Can anyone else see my pics?

I also tried to pull them up but it did not work. I am taking my daughter to the tea in January after her BBB appointment. My son and husband are going to go off and do something together. I would also love to see some pictures or more reviews.

Garden View Tea is a permanent part of our WDW routine. We are a family of tea drinkers. My wife collects teapots and I collect teas! We have a reservation for 2pm Christmas Day for a special family afternoon.

Here is a photo from our tea last visit:

That looks yummy. We have reservations for the 23rd and I am really looking forward to it. Any other pictures?

I went last May with my DMom and DisFriend and we all had the Grand Tea. We absolutely loved it! We didn't dress up but we did try to look nice. We were going to the MK earlier that day so we still wanted to be comfortable. We each ordered a different black tea that we would all like and traded tea pots to all try something different. We had the Eros, the Cassis, and then a special brew.

I would say resort casual is how I would dress for tea.. I have seen some more dressed, but a nice pair of capris, nice shorts, shirt, sandals.. just not short shorts (think cutoffs or really short shorts). Men, golf shirts, khaki shorts, long pants..
