The menu has a few choices that include port or champagne. What if a teenage orders these? I realize they can't drink but can me or my DH drink it or is it just lost?

last year i took my dd (16 y.o.) and we both got the Buckingham palace. they gave her sparkling cider and me champagne. it really was wonderful! we r going again this year.

I would think they could give you the alchoholic beverage, if you did not want the kid-friendly substitute. DS got the cider on our last visit, but other places he has ordered package meals that come with an adult beverage, and we've never had an issue with it being given to me or DH.

Sparkling cider would be perfect. I didn't think about that. Thanks. Also. Does anyone know what the sandwiches are?

If I recall well there was a cucumber sandwich that had watercress on it too, a curried chicken salad sandwich, and an egg salad sandwich. There may have been a smoked salmon sandwich as well. There was a warm onion tart.

I was there last week and the sandwhiches were: Pear and gongazola cheese, egg, shrimp and curried chicken plus the little onion tart (which by the way, was the best thing on the sandwhich course!!).

Does anyone know what is the difference between the Grand Tea and the Buckingham?

I see one has the champagne, but any other difference?

Also, do you think I could get 2 onion tarts instead of the pate?
