Hi,

I have just booked 3 nights in a garden suite at BWI.
I was really excited until I read that several people have had rooms that back onto Spoodles and they power wash their equipment from 1-4 am!!! Apparently it soundsterrible. Other people have commented on the poor condition of the suites - can anyone give me their view or know what room to avoid???
I have paid quite a lot of money for this so am just a little anxious

Thanks

Sarah.

what do they have more than staying at BWV

I've always read glowing reviews of stays at the garden suites -- reading them made me a little sad that it was one of the few WDW rooms I could never exchange my DVC points into.

They offer daily housekeeping (which you don't get in the villas if you are staying on/renting points) and concierge service--although the concierge lounge requires a walk outside, through the building, and an elevator ride, not at all convenient.

sarahluvsdisney - I was one of the unlucky BWI garden suites guests who was kept awake for 2 consecutive nights with Spoodles powerwashing.
My DH and I were booked there for our anniversary last December. When I was awakened the first night, it sounded like someone was banging a hammer on an empty trash can - it went on for maybe 20 minutes and then it stopped. I drifted back to sleep and it started again. I thought it was a one-night thing so I didn't complain but when it started up again the second night, I was right on the phone with the front desk (at 1 a.m.)! It took several phone calls and until about 4 a.m. before a manager tracked down the offender. They did offer to move us to a room at YC/BC during the middle of the night - BWI was booked - and I declined. I told them we wanted to move to the GF main building (an equivalent priced room) and was told they were booked. I called CRO myself and was able to book GF main building with an AP rate. The BWI staff was very apologetic and moved us in their courtesy car.

I thought our suite was in need of updating (we were in 1206). The furniture was soiled and a threadbare in places, the varnish on the stair threads was worn away and the shower had a bit of mold growing in the door track.

The space in the suites is great but for the price, they did not meet our expectations. If you keep your ressie there, I would definitely talk to your concierge planner and request a room far away from Spoodles - and hope that ESPN and the Flying Fish don't powerwash ducts at 1 am! Good luck!
