We have booked a Garden Suite at the Boardwalk Inn for July. I have seen the pics at Our Laughing Place and WDWIG.

Has anyone stayed there, and if so, how was it?ae

Things I would like to know:

Distance from Concierge
Floor Plan
Views
Good room #s

How exciting! Hope you enjoy it. Here are some answers for you:

Distance from Concierge: You have to walk inside the lobby and take the elevator to the concierge lounge. I'd say the walk to the main lobby from the Garden Suites is about 20-60 feet, depending on which suite you get.

Floor Plan: Sorry, couldn't find a room plan on-line. The pix at those links give a pretty good description of the layout though. The bedroom area is upstairs.

Views: They view the garden/quiet pool area. These are "behind" the Boardwalk side of the resort so there are no water views or Boardwalk views

Good room #s: There are only 4 of these units and they are all in a line. So, I'm not sure if one room number is better than another. They all have the same set-up and entrance garden area. http://wdwig.com/bwi10.jpg

Has anyone stayed here?

All the website provide little info about the suite itself. One thing I would like to know is whether the outdoor entrance is the only entrance.

Could someone who has stayed here provide me with a list of the amenities offered at the garden suites?

Any help would be appreciated.

There is not a washer/dryer. If you are willing to consider it, the Boardwalk Villas offers One Bedroom Villas that have a washer/dryer, kitchen, king bed in master bedroom, jacuzzi tub and living room. These are regular units and would not carry the concierge benefits/amenities found with the Garden Suite. There are pix at the links you have.

Hopefully, someone who has stayed recently will be able to comment. It has been years since I have seen these. With so few of them, it may be tough to find someone on the boards who can give you a review.

Good luck! :)

BWV are booked up for the days in July we want to go.

The BWI Garden Suite sounds fine for our needs.

It looks like this is a rare room to book, since there are few here who have stayed there!

Here are the specs, from what I can gather:

-Each room has 2 floors with yard and rose garden inside a picket fence. Private entrance to room.
-individually landscaped
-Some have a balcony (?)
-Queen Sofa on main floor
-Most have King bed on top floor
-Wet bar (know there is fridge and sink, not sure about rest)
-Large Jacuzzi
-TV in bathroom
-Bathroom has 2 sinks
-1 1/2 baths
-Stereo TV
-Living Area
-Two line speakerphone w/ computer capabilities
-concierge access
-nestled area in quiet area with view of quiet pool

900-1,100 feet

Value Regular Peak Holiday
Garden Suite $545 $600 $670 $780
