DW and I stopped by Epcot yesterday afternoon for a quick visit to catch the 5:30p Blood, Sweat, & Tears concert. We arrived around 3:30p to find the parking lot surprisingly full. We were parked pretty far back in Create 52. We boarded the tram just before it took off. We were pleased to find no line at the bag check and were waved through the screening. We found the Passholder tapstiles, on the left this time, where the only delay was that the first tapstile refused three times to read my finger. The second tapstile worked fine and we were into the crowd.

As expected based on the parking lot, the park was fairly crowded. We made our way to the Land for a FP+ at Soarin', our favorite ride. Standby was showing 60 minutes and the line was almost out to the entrance. We walked through the FP queue and were directed right into Concourse C. It looked like we were going to wait in the concourse for the next flight when one of the CM's came by looking for a few fill ins. We were selected and we got in row 2 just as Patrick's pre-show started. Basically we "walked on". Can't beat that!

After a nice flight we made our way out of the Land and headed towards the World Showcase, turning right towards Canada. The walkways were crowded and the going was slow but then we weren't in any hurry.

We arrived at the American Theater by about 4:30p, not sure what lines we would find. It turned out that the theater was open and was already about 3/4 full. We found a seat in some shade towards the back on the left side with a great view of the Globe sitting in its parking space. By 5pm the theater was almost full. Thankfully it was a gorgeous day, clear, 70's with a fairly good breeze out of the northwest so the wait wasn't uncomfortable.

BS&T come out right on time and played a nice set of their favorites, You Made Me Very Happy, God Bless the Child, And When I Die, Spinning Wheel, opening with Lucretia McEvil. I thought this incarnation of BS&T was very good, playing the old songs faithfully with a safe amount of personal style. The new lead singer, Bo Bice, was powerful, channeling David Clayton-Thomas.

Leaving the concert we continued our path around the world and back to Future World. It was really crowded! As expected once we got into Future World the crowds eased up a bit and were back at the car by about 6:40p.

This was our last Disney visit for the season. We head back north on Monday. It has been a wonderful winter in the land of the Mouse! I'll be depending on Disboards for my Disney fix this summer.
