Garden Rocks And Flower and Garden Crowds

Hello,

I'm deep in planning for our 4/30-5/5 trip. We will be at each park for one day during the week- no hoppers. My only super set day is MK for Tuesday 5/1 because we’re doing EMM. How much does the Flower and Garden Festival affect the crowds at Epcot? What about the concerts? I'm considering Epcot to be our park on Friday 5/4 but I’m unsure. If we didn’t do Epcot that day we’d do Animal Kingdom instead. Advice?? Thank you!

F&G is not as crowded as Food and Wine but there will definitely be more crowds than if nothing was going on.Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone is the group playing on 5/4,I've seen him probably two dozen times,super entertaining show.The three concerts themselves will fill up and there will be a long line to get in the theater for the first two shows,the third is usually the least crowded,also they may let people in the theater for the first show super early so there wouldn't be a line like for the next two shows,that's something that they've been doing lately and is very smart as nobody enjoys standing in line under the hot sun.The group and the festival are both popular but overall the crowds should be manageable,F&G still is not like weekends at F&W where it gets crazy.

Hey we will be there at the same time and also going to MK on the 1st!... we picked the 3rd as our EPCOT day even though it has EMH that morning simply because we have grandparents joining us for the first 2 days and they wanted MK and AK. We have never been so cant really give any solid advice on the crowds but have fun!
