Yesterday I bought the $25 gift certificate from Restaurant.com for $2. I figure it's worth a shot! We have never eaten here but we've eaten just about everywhere else in the World.

Will we need dinner ressies in mid-October? I am pretty sure this place isn't on the DDP as it's at the Swan/Dolphin but we won't want to wait forever either.

Also, is it just one character at dinner? Is the food ok? Yelp reviews seemed decent but not great. TIA!

Usually 2 characters. I have never seen it crowded enough to need an ADR, though having one can't hurt.

I made on for October a few weeks ago. I was spoilt for choice of times and days. Everything I put in came up as available. I think with free dining on it is especially easy to get in as everyone is trying to use their credits and GG is not a dining plan participant.

We just ate there a few weeks ago using our Restaurant.com GC. The dinner buffet changes nightly. We were there on a Wednesday which was BBQ. There were 3 soups to chose from, carving station, cold salads, and a few hot entrees and side dish assortment. For those with children, there is a small buffet all the way at the far end of the restaurant for them. The food was ok, typical buffet. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Our characters were Pluto and Goofy. Didn't spend much time with us, our kids are 11 and 13 and stopped by for a quick photo and moved on. Servers were all friendly, as was manager. We have a food allergy in our family so I spoke with several people that evening and everyone was helpful.

We just ate there last week on "Seafood Night" ($31.99). At 8 pm, the place was about 30% filled. The characters were Timon and Rafiki. We were a group of adults, so we took several group photos but no one wanted an autograph or anything else except some fun photos:)

The food was delicious! There was salmon, crab legs, steak, mashed potatoes, lots of salads, clam chowder, table side cesear sald, ETC. plus a station with a chef making fresh risotto with your choice of ingredients. The desserts were really good. There was also a kids station too. I was impressed with the food considering it was a buffet.

For those who don't have the Restaurant.com GC, you can use your AAA card for a 20% discount.

I don't think you would need a reservation, especially in Oct., but it never hurts.
