Garden Grocers

Hi,
Has anyone used Garden Grocers? How did you find the service. Did Bell put away the items in your room? Any info appreciated.

Hi Carole,

I just used GG on my Xmas trip and they were great...I was a little concerned because I gave them a 2pm - 4pm window to deliver and check in is only at 4pm. I should have called them prior but with the trip and Xmas, I found myself going nuts to prepare for the trip...Needless to say, we were able to check in early and GG called before they arrived (about 3:30pm). They came directly to the room and unpacked everything. Everything was delivered in coolers or crates.

They were Great!

I ordered online, which I will do in the future but I will call them to discuss delivery when I know I will be in the room...I am not sure if the hotel will hold food deliveries...

We are using them for our upcoming trip due to the food court situation being crazy. They deliver to the hotel for 10 bucks and the hotel will hold your food for you and put necessary items in the hotel fridge(theirs not yours) until you arrive. I was unaware they came directly to the room once you are there.

I am not sure if the resort will deliver but GG will come direct to your room. It's good to know the resort will refridgerate...thanks!

All the WDW resorts luggage/bell services have cold storage available.

They just ask that they cold items are separated from the dry goods, and clearly labeled

Thanks for the replys ,
We arrive at about 12:00 so doubt the room will be ready. Then we plan to go to Disney Quest and Downtown Disney for the afternoon before seeing La Nouba. After that its Wolfgang Puck. We may not be back to the Resort before 11 pm. Will Bell services still be open and operating? We planned on ordering a couple of cases of water as well as some food which would be hard to carry ourselves to the room. But we could do it if Bell is open.

We used Garden Grocer in December. We requested a 7-9 delivery window, got a phone call at 6 to say they came early and dropped the order with bell services. We called down to bell services and they delivered the order to our room in the CP section. Everything went great, the food was fresh and in tact. We will be using them again is September at SSR again.

Thats really good to know. I'll talk to Bell Services when I arrive and explain the food is being delivered and ask if they will deliver it to the room. I was planning on giving them a big tip anyway but will add more for delivering the groceries as well.
