Very excited! :yay: :woohoo:

Just made my Garden Grocer order. I was afraid to wait too long and lose our desired delivery time.

Makes me a little nervous depending on them to get my food there since we are planning to eat breakfast in the room everyday. Anybody out there that's used them before that would be able to put my mind at rest?

OK let me ease your mind!!!

We've used the Graden Grocer at least 5 times in the past.. with nothing but AWESOME results.

Let me list the pros:
1. Delivery has always been made when they say it is
2. Food is always fresh
3. Food is always exactly what you expect (quality and quantity)
4. If you have to make changes, they are super friendly on the phone
5. You always get exactly what you order
6. Once they did not have one item that we ordered and they called us to ask what we would like as a replacement (and gave it to us for the same price)
7. The hotel will either house the groceries in a fridge for you or put them in your room for you!
8. They're inexpensive (when compared to ordering directly through Disney)
8. (and most important) When you arrive at your resort you have all your groceries there and ready for you! It's so great to NOT have to worry about that.

Cons:
None :)

As you can see, I'm a walking commerical for Garden Grocer! I promise I get no benefit for bragging about them. I'm just a happy customer!

I used them last April and was not impressed. I order a box of yogurt (w/ 8 in box)...they only gave me one. And they forgot the hand sopa we ordered. It took 2 phones calls and 3 days to get the rest of the yogurt and soap delivered. We are going again next August...for $30 I can rent a car and go buy my own stuff from Walmart...it's cheaper and I will get exactly what I want.

We used them this summer and had a great experience. The food was there when we checked in and was promptly brought to our room. And, we received exactly what we ordered. I would defnitely used them again.

We used them a couple years ago with no trouble at all. We are headed to AKV soon and I just put in my order with GG too. I thought a lot about other options and kept coming back to GG. Other options had too many cons . . . WeGoShop...must pay cash, create your own list and though the prices are cheaper as they are not marked up, they really do get you in delivery fees. The delivery process was a little confusing too. I thought about a taxi or car rental for a day too, but you might save a little $$$ only to lose a chunk of vacation time...not to mention lugging groceries to your room. I think GG will be worth every penny.

We used GG last month and it was perfect. I asked to have my order delivered right before we were due to arrive, and bell services held it for me (and refrigerated what needed to be) until we got to our room. We got exactly what we asked for.

This is the link to them...

They also take Paypal which was very convenient for me! :)

I put in a request to have them put in my room on Dec. 2nd and put the yogurt in the fridge and I threw in a tip - hoping for a wonderful first experience!! Since we are not renting a car and are taking the Magical Express... Garden Grocer seemed like the right answer for us.

We are going to be there 12 days so I got several packs of distilled water, some apples and bananas, crackers, cheese, cheetos, tortilla chips and salsa (for DH) and with the $12 delivery fee it was right at $100... We will have a refillable cup and free dining so this should more than keep us for the vacation and make one thing more magical and easier!!!

We have used them too, and it was great. We used to food shop the firsst day and it was kind of a hassel, with Garden Grocer, our food was delivered right to our room. I will never food shop on vacation again.

We used garden grocer when we stayed last year at ASMu and they were great :) Super convenient to have them deliver right to the room. Actually between them and Orlando Stroller Rental we were all set. Wonderful service and super nice.

We used Garden Grocer twice and it was perfect both times!!!! They are a little bit expensive on some things but it is so convenient. The customer service is also great. Have a great trip!!!

So you don't have to be present for the food to be delivered? This is the only thing having me hesitate. We are staying at Shades of Green, not getting in until around 8:00 or so and we'll be starving, will want sushi at Kona Cafe. Don't want to wait around on a delivery...

From what I understand, you don't have to be in the room. If it arrives before you do or you're in the parks, they will hold it for you at Bell Services. I'm pretty sure they'll even refrigerate something if necessary.

No, you don't have to be there. We purposely schedule our delivery for about the time our plane lands, so that by the time we get of the ME, it is there. Bell services will hold it for you.

I have also used them several times and I can second all (but #6) of the above! Great service!

Gardengrocer FAQs say that we should notify the resort ahead of time to let them know that we are having groceries delivered. Does everyone do this?
