I'm thinking of ordering our food. Trying to be very careful that I order just enough. Don't want to have too much.

Is Garden Grocer the only game in town?

I noticed that they are quite expensive. Almost doubled the price that I would find here in New England.

Is there a minimum delivery date?

Any other tips when ordering from them. I agree with another poster even at $7.99 a case of water (it is still cheaper than $2.50 in the parks)

How many cases do you think I should get for 7 days?

we ordered 2 cases (48 bottles) of water for 3 adults for 6 days. 2 10 packs of juice boxes, can of Lysol and a few items for breakfast so we can eat in the room and hit the parks early. Minimum order is $40 plus $12 for delivery.

Prices were higher than home but the water would cost way more than the upcharge.

Another on-line service is WeGo Shop, but I cannot offer a personal comment, as we have not used them.

We've used Garden Grocer twice and been pleased with their service. This year our order arrived before we did; they left a message on my cell phone voicemail. They had forgotten one item - not a "critical" one - that was delivered as promised the next day.

We order one case of water for 7 days and it worked out fairly well; I also use it to make coffee because I don't care for the taste of WDW tap water, so I needed to supplement a bit with a purchase of 2 larger bottles @ WDW.

My normal order - eggs, milk, bread, bagels, orange juice, Coke, packaged cheese, cereal, snacks and water. I bring extra coffee, filters, Crystal Light & peanut butter with us. We normally eat breakfast in our room.

Prices are higher than at home, but better than those @WDW.

We use Garden Grocer and have been pleased every time. One item was forgotten once, and was delivered the next day, no big deal IMO. Plus when we lived on the west coast and arrived in the middl eof the night our groceries were always waiting for us at the bell desk or once in the fridge at our cabin at FW!

DH and I actually found the prices to be reasonable, sure they aren't Safeway or Walmart prices but they are much better than WDW. When we order we usually order breakfast items (pastries, cereal, granola bars), milk, coffee, some water, and snacks. However when we order we're usually staying at a DVC or FW cabin so we have access to a full sized fridge and over. So our order also includes ice cream and tv dinners. We have also ordered diapers and wipes so that we wouldn't ahve to lug them cross country. Well worth it to us!

Keep in mind that you shuld place your order in advance, checking to see if your delivery date is available as some dates do book up in advance.

I've used WeGoShop. Marge & her shoppers are wonderful. They will go to any supermarket, Walmart, Target, etc you want them to. They will even pick up coupons if you like before they go to the store. :)

Wegoshop actually delivered our fridge for our fridge swap. :) She went to 3 different Walmarts looking for the fridge I wanted, then walked thru the aisle on the phone w/ me telling me each fridge they had in stock so I could pick one. LOL That's service! I definitely recommend them.

Does Garden Grocer deliver beer/wine? Doesn't appear so.

Does WeShop?

Garden Grocer did deliver beer for us about two years ago. THere is a section for you to email them. I emailed asking if they delivered beer and let them know what I wanted added to my order and it was delivered with everything else.

I have not tried Wegoshop but I can tell you the two times we ordered from Garden Grocer I could not have been more pleased with the service.

I think that either will let you order beer/wine. At gardengrocer, you can add it in under "special requests."

We were in WDW in August again this year. We ordered 2 cases of water, some breakfast stuff, and some munchies to bring to the park.

We use Marge and her staff at We Go Shop every trip to Disney. They do a wonderful job and will shop at any store you request.

She has even purchased Easter baskets for our kids with a list of items we wanted them to include.

We have used their service 8 or so times and have always been pleased. :)
