Garden Grocer

We're tihnking of using the Garden Grocer to get some water, snacks, etc for the room so we don't have to rely on the food court. Anyone know how far in advance you have to place your order? Any stories of success/failures with it?

Are we better off just using the food court?

we have used it in the past and ordered a month or so in advance.. they are good... but they charge about $15 for a minimal order.. more for a larger order...

We used Garden Grocer for our President's Week 2008 trip. They delivered everything to POFQ Bell Services, who kept the cold products refrigerated for us until we came back from the parks .
It was convenient and reasonable. We did not have to be there to accept the order (even though we had them pick up a case of beer, too).

We leave on the 12th, so I'd like it delivered the evening of the 12th. Do I still have time to order?

Garden Grocer has multiple delivery time ranges, and since the 12th is not a holiday, you will probably be fine.
Go ahead and place the order- you select delivery time range when the order is entered. They also have a phone number for questions, so you could call to verify, if you want.

We went last month and ordered water, soda, crackers, etc. I think we placed the order about 5 days before we wanted them delivered. It was pretty slick and easy. I would highly recommend garden grocer.

We've used them twice, once for DD & I (minimum $40 order) when we stayed at Pop. And once when DH & I took a group of students to UO and stayed offsite (very large order, 8 cases of water etc.) Hotel delivers it right to your room.

On both occasions we were more than pleased. It's a great company!

We placed our order last weekend for delivery on the 5th. They had everything but morning available.
