Garden Grocer worth it?

Then bell services will bring it to your room when you're ready.

How did you make arrangements with Bell Services? I'm assuming it was arranged in advance. Sorry if my questions are dumb but I've never tried this before. :rolleyes1

Garder Grocer user here at least 5-6 times. Absolutely....NO problem whatsover...great service.

Its so worth it too us not to have to drive out and get groceries and waste our precious vacation time. I too believe its about $12 dollars. When you think of them time it takes..the gas it takes..the aggravation...$12 is nothing!

I would highly recommend them. As far as the alcohol...I did fax my DL to them..the other times..I just showed them when the items were delivered.

have a great time!

I want to do an order with GG and have never done it before. We're going June 21st...when should I order? Should I order now or could I wait until right before we go?

At what $$ is it best to just use the DVC order form vs ordering groceries off-site? Our primary expense is breakfast foods and Diet Coke, which I drink when others are having their morning coffee. I've never ordered off-site so any information is more than I currently have (especially since SSR apparently no longer offers cans:scared1: ).

I can pull out my trusty spreadsheets to do some comparisons but I thought I would ask first.

For us it's not a break even thing for us, it's what's offered through DVC vs. what's offered through GG. I have a much, much, much larger selection of items with GG than I do with DVC. I guess it's all in what you are ordering. If I was satisfied with what DVC offered than I would probably go with them, but I am not, so I don't.

We usually rent a car, and for us it is simply much easier to stop at Publix to grocery shop on are way to the resort. It is simply cheaper by far.

About how soon should I place my order? It's about a $75 order and we'll be arriving at VWL on June 1.

I would book as soon as possible. There have been times when they have not been able to accept an order because they are completely booked for that day. I booked my Sept order several months ago! Yes, a bit compulsive, but it's done. There is a $12 delivery charge and I usually add a $5 tip for the delivery person.
it's worked out to be much cheaper for me than using the store at BW. I like to get water, some soda, bagels, muffins, bananas, apples, and bread. The stuff at the Screen Door is on the expensive side. So..I use GardenGrocer and forget about it.

Defintely get your order in with them sooner rather than later. 30 days out is should be enough time good. Delivery times and and days get booked and you may have to wait and have the food delivered a day later than you would liked.
