Garden Grocer @ WH?

Has anyone used Garden Grocer to have groceries delivered to Windsor Hills?

Were you satisfied with the service/selection/prices/quality of fresh foods?

I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to have groceries delieved after we arrive vs. having to deal with grocery shopping on our first evening of vacation.

I would say it would depend on your arrival day, if it is a weekend day or during the week and also your arrival time--early am or later in the day. Since you will most likely have a rental--there is a super walmart and super-target right up the road on the 192 highway. If it was a during the week arrival day anytime before say 3 pm--I would do the shopping. If it was a weekend day or later than 5-6pm you may want your order delivered, but at additional cost. We always tend to stop at different stores and outlets on our arrival day, as well as DTD then relax by the pool for a nice settling in evening to get charged up for our first park day. good luck

We used them during our recent stay at Windsor Hills and were very happy. Every item was there. The guy that delivered them brought everything in and even put the items in the refrigerator/freezer as we went over the inventory. It was so nice to not have to go to the grocery store after arriving!

Our plane arrives on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm, so by the time we got the rental car & drove to WH, I suspect it would be 5:30-6. And I think I might just be feeling too lazy after a day of travel with a 5 year old to deal with grocery shopping.

We normally arrive on a Saturday, and shop that night. The stores are always a complete zoo---because half the world arrives on Saturday.
