Garden Grocer Refunds Due to Irma

Has anyone else not yet receive a refund from Garden Grocer due to an Irma related cancellation? I had a grocery delivery scheduled for September 9th. Cancelled on September 6th due to Irma and was promised a full refund. Order disappeared from my account's order history and as of today there is no refund in my bank account. I used a debit card.

Did you call Garden Grocer and ask them about it?

Have you called and asked? That would be step one. See when they processed the refund. Once they do, it is on your bank.

I did, and they admitted our refund had been overlooked. We should see it in a few business days.

So simple solution. Just follow up with them.

Honestly, in the insanity I'm not that shocked that something like that could happen. They are human beings and had a lot going on both as a business and as people who had lives and families in danger.

I guess I deserved a scolding but my reason for starting this thread was to see if anyone else had a delay in getting a refund. I didn't want to call and nag them if it was just going to take more time. They couldn't have been nicer and admitted they hadn't even initiated the refund. Now I can inform others that might be experiencing a delay in their refund. They were overwhelmed, you might need to call again. Garden Grocer will get my business again!

I still haven't gotten a refund for my water they didn't deliver. I had forgotten about it until you posted.
I'm frustrated with them because I called the day before delivery at 1 pm to confirm they were able to complete our order. The assured me all orders were complete. Then the next day I only got 1 out of 2 cases of water. I need to call and get that refund. Thanks for the reminder!
