garden grocer prices

Originally, I was going to pack a suitcase with breakfast items. We are flying Southwest so the bag would be free. The problem is we will still need bottled water, milk and distilled water (cpap machine). Now, I am thinking about just placing an order at Garden Grocer. Should I just buy the bare minimum ($40) from Garden Grocer or should I just buy everything I need and forget dealing with the extra suitcase? The convenience is worth something to me but I am not sure how much extra I will be paying. I really do not keep up with grocery prices at home because my husband does most of the shopping.
Also I did price out what we would need for our 8 day stay and it is about $100 for our family of four. We do have the dining plan so only are getting drinks (48 bottles of water and drinks for the mornings), breakfast food, and necessary paper products. Money is not a huge issue for us but I don't want to be foolish either. Any advice?

We've used garden grocer the last 3 trips. I am always happy with the service and delivery aspect.
To be honest though, I find their prices high. I ordered breakfast items, cut up fruit, yoghurt drinks and snacks. There was nothing for dinner or lunch in the order. With tip and taxes and delivery it was over $100 dollars. For two bags of groceries.
Now, the convenience is worth it, but for the first time last trip I started thinking there really has to be a better way to do this.
Upcoming trip we will have a car and I will go out of my way to make sure I go to a grocery store that isn't so close that the prices are jacked up for vacationers. But this time I'm shopping for a full week of meals in the condo.

In your case I would bring as much as you can because the additional suitcase is free and you'll have room in it for things you want to buy on vacation and bring home.
I don't know a better way to get the water though.

I found the ease of it worth the extra $. BTW, you can also add beer and wine to your order.

We used wegoshop on our last Disney trip and I liked it better than GardenGrocer. Regular prices for items plus a service charge.

Depending on where you are staying you could look into two other options. One would be renting a car. You could pick up at Dolphin, near downtown Disney or setup for a pickup. The second option would be simply to get the drinks at a nearby hess station. I am not sure if they would have everything you need though.

If you are looking for a way to get bottled water, acouple of years ago we ordered water from Costco.com and had it delivered to the resort on our arrival date. You will need to put your reservation number and arrival date in part of the delivery address when ordering. When we arrived, POFQ, the two cases of water were waiting for us in our room. We plan on doing the same thing this August when we return.

This is why we do it, it is so nice to have our order waiting there when we arrive that it is worth the price for us. Also my DH is a beer drinker and it saves us money ordering beer thru them as opposed to buying it at the resort.

However another thing you might consider, if you plan on getting a lot of souvenirs that having that extra suitcase might come in handy at the end of your trip. Since it should be empty.
