Garden Grocer or We Go Shop

Hi, we will not have a car and would like to order groceries. Will have a hungry teen boy with us.

I don't know whether to choose Garden Grocer or We Go Shop. Any advice?

We used Garden Grocer last December, they were great. they deliver right to your room. Our flight was delayed and they were able to leave the packages at the hotel anything that was perisable was keept in a fridge.freezer. Then Bell services brought it up to us. Definately recommend using them.

We've used both. I prefer We Go Shop as we had a delivery issue with Garden Grocer.

We have used GG a number of times and never had a issue, we have always been pleased with the service.

Wegoshop will go to the stores that you want them to and get the brands/sizes you want. With GG, it is whatever is on their website.

So if you want or need a certain brand, or something that is not widely available, wegoshop would be better for you.

We've always used Garden Grocer and never had a problem with them.

I've used both and would recommend WeGoShop hands down!

When using Garden Grocer, I received freezer burned items, produce that was past it's prime, and the items were not packed well so many things were soggy or crushed.

WeGoShop has excellent customer service and will go to any store you choose (Publix, Whole Foods, etc.) to shop for exactly what you want - no limiting yourself to a preset inventory on a website.

WeGoShop will shop for fresh items with the same eye they would use to shop for themselves so everything is top notch (and if there are any snags while they are shopping, such as a requested item not being of acceptable quality, etc. - they contact you to discuss substitutions, etc.). The delivery fee is well worth it when you know that you'll receive quality groceries delivered in person by the individual who shopped for them on your behalf!

No comparison between WGS and GG in my opinion!

Amy at WeGoShop is great. We have used them multiple times and have had no issue and everything is perfect. They will leave the items at the bell service and they can be delivered to your room if you prefer. Or they can deliver after you have checked in. I love their service.

GG has a $40 minimum and $14 delivery fee... How does WGS compare?

WegoShop has an $18 fee for up to $50 purchases and $23 for $50-$100, over $100 is $28.

Wego Shopping is our choice. Agree with O.P. Amy Martin is Super.

When ordering, you have to specific in what you are needing to order. Also when Amy says I'll be at the front entrance of the Resort at 11:00 AM - you can expect Amy to be there. I've used Amy for a few years now.

I was surprised Amy accepted personal checks from out of state. She is to nice and very hospitable that no one in their honest mind should do Amy wrong.

We have used Garden Grocer several times and we are big fans! Awesome customer service, convenient and easy to order. They are happy to get anything that is not on the site for you.

We usually get less than $50 in items: Bottled water, cereal milk, breakfast food, fresh fruit, juice, some snacks, pop tarts maybe a bag of chips, yogurt. Nothing too fancy or special, but if you take the cost of having groceries delivered and then figure what breakfast alone would cost each day, you save a ton either way you decide to go.

What I did not like about Garden Grocer, their prices were a bit on the high side IMO. I priced items (when I was in FL at Publix and WalMart) and then compared what the GG prices were, then added deliver on top of that, they were making a good amount just on their mark-up. What I liked about We Go Shop, is you pay the price on the shelf, or Amy will ask you if you prefer something similar if she finds a deal. I get the grocery receipt as well from WeGoShop. Both are similar and I have only used one, but feel you get more bang for your buck with We Go Shop.
