I'm not sure if this thread is in the right place so please move if not. I'm wondering about the best way to get some groceries to our resort room. We stayed off-site with a rental car our last two trips so just went to the grocery store. This time we're at POR and on the DDP (snack/QS/full service) for a 6 night trip so we won't need a lot, but I'm thinking we'd want cereal, milk, bottled water, juice boxes and some snacks that our kids like (graham crackers, cereal bars, rice cakes, fish crackers). We could pack everything except the milk and juice boxes (I'm thinking you can't pack sealed liquid boxes in checked bags or they'd explode or leak? Maybe I'm wrong?). What is the best route to go - Garden Grocer delivery, pack all except milk and juice and buy those at the POR store (do they even have those items?), mail them (seems heavy)? Or is it cheaper and/or easier to just buy any juice/water/snacks out of pocket at our resort or in the parks for 7 days? We do have cash saved for tips, alcoholic beverages, misc., etc. When I asked my dh how he wanted to do this he said, "Do we really need to bring anything?" I'd love some tips from those of you who have done this before. Thank you so much!

We have gone all routes you mention. We usually have a car, so a grocery run is easy. You could ship to resort by UPS, sending juice boxes and Parmalat milk cartons. The web grocer options work well, but the net difference of paying the delivery charge may not be worth it. Simply buying from your resort may be the best option for you.
Sorry, I guess this advice is not very helpful?

I guess that's what I'm thinking - just buy milk, juice and water bottles from the resort store and pack the rest.
