I am looking at using GG for our upcoming trip. We dont arrive to MCO until 5:30 and someone suggested it would be near 7pm before we got to the Poly. Does GG deliver at a specific time or is it a block of time? We would like to get to the resort and grab a quick bite at CS and head over to Illuminations. What if you arent at the resort when they deliver? Will they leave it at the front desk? Also, I have to order Milk and Juice and I dont want that sitting out. Thanks for any help from those who have ordered.

We have used them once and plan on using them again this coming trip. When you check out on Garden Grocer's website there is a block of time that you pick for the items to be delivered. Last time we were arriving on Thanksgiving day and GG was closed, so we just had them deliver it the day before we got there. So it is not a problem if you aren't there. And bell services (or somebody) keeps the cold items in the fridge/freezer for you. After we got into our room, I called down and they brought our delivery to us.

We're using them on our upcoming trip and it's good to know the CM's keep the stuff cold it you're not there to pick up! Did you have to let them know ahead of the time about the delivery?

We used them on our last trip. I picked a time around when we would be arriving, but due to flight cancellations and being rerouted half way around the USA to here there and everywhere, to get to orlando we spend an extra 24hrs travelling from airport to airport...... so long story short, we were a day late arriving at AKL but our groceries were still delivered the day before on our scheduled arrival date. Our groceries were there waiting for us when we arrived. I had ordered milk and cut fruit and a few other things that needed to be kept cold and everything was in PERFECT condition when we got it and everything that was supposed to be cold was very cold, it had been well stored by Bell Services and also were great quality products from Garden Grocer.

We will definately use them if we go back this year.

Wow, thats good to know about the cold stuff. I was worried about that. Do you have to let GG know if you wont be there for delivery?

I didn't let them know that we wouldn't be there, I had put our delivery time around our arrival time (or a bit before as travelling from Australia on a very long journey I wanted it there for when we arrived). But as it happened we were delayed 24hours so our groceries were just delivered to AKL. I hadn't told AKL that they were coming when I called and said our flight was cancelled and we were rerouted and would be arriving a day late and as it was a very last minute and hour by hour plane drama, I didn't tell GG either that we would not be there (again cause it happened last minute and I didn't have their number and the whole situation was so stressful I didn't even think about the groceries).

I think it happens regularly that they are delivered and people are not there, I think sometimes people are at the parks too, as you can add a tip for the delivery driver to your order, which we had done.
