Garden grocer delivery

I need some advice on garden grocer, do you have to be present in your room to accept delivery of the items they are bringing or can they deliver it to the hotel without you present? I am thinking about using them possibly for the upcoming trip but definitely for our January half marathon trip with my mom. Please help, any advice is greatly appreciated!

You do not need to be there to have the groceries delivered to the resort. However they will not deliver the groceries to your room unless you are there. They will leave the groceries with bell services if you aren't in your room. Bell services will store the items until you call for them when you return to your room. You can schedule your delivery time within 2 hour windows when you place your order. They will call your cell phone to let you know when they are delivering. We usually choose to wait for the delivery as they are very prompt. We have used garden grocer many times and we are very satisfied with their service.

I have used gardengrocer.com for around 10 orders, and have only been home for 2 of them. Never have had a problem. But - if I'm not going to be there I do add a tip to the total.

We've been using GG for a few years for our trips. We're very happy with their service. At busy times the delivery times do fill up, so place your order early.

We love Garden Grocer. They will deliver the groceries to Bell Services if you are not at your resort yet. Bell Services has a freezer/storage areas for these. When we used them in January, the groceries arrived before we did. Everything was perfect when Bell Services delivered it to our room, even the ice cream. We will definitely use Garden Grocer again.

We have used wegoshop.com 5 times and been very satisfied with their service. I always schedule an early evening delivery on our arrival day and we have always been in our Villa for delivery. They will schedule a 30 minute delivery window and they have always been exactly on time.
I believe, although I am not positive, that if you order "adult beverages" they have to deliver directly to you so you can show ID. I think this is Florida law. So take that into account

We used Garden Grocer on our Dec. trip and were very happy with them. Our groceries were delivered before we arrived at the resort and everything was perfect. I had paid online when I placed the order and left a tip at that time too, so I didn't need to worry about being there when they delivered.
