Is anyone familar with the new buffett menu for dinner. It used to be family syle, But today the CM said dinner is now a buffett. Has anyone done this? Or have the link to the wdw menus? Thanks in advance!

 I'm a little muddled. I didn't know they were switching to buffet. I have eaten there before and I don't see where they have room for buffet. If the restaurant is still spinning it would be a little disorienting to find your way back to your table because your table is always moving, especially for my kids.

Have they renovated completely? I just don't see how this could be done without major changes.

Help!

Exactly my confusion!!!! I looked up the menu, it says buffett but lists the same food as it was family style. With one issue for us anyway, The childrens offerrings are listed as same as adults in other words it does not say chicken strips/fries/ mac/cheese. I am also very confused. It can not be a buffet as there is just not enough room. And yes, in August it was still rotating. Anyone know?

I'd like to know about this too. I think I might like to eat there if I didn't have any cartfish on my plate!

Well I was calling about another PS and decided I would ask. The person I spoke with said that it's still family style dining with children's menu available. I believe when I made my reservation earlier for Garden Grill they also said family dining. I would suggest double checking when you arrive to make sure. Hope this helps.

We also made a ps there a few days ago for our trip in December and the CM told me it was family style dining and she listed the kids meal offerings. Can anyone tell us who the characters have been lately for dinner??

Ok I called back and spoke to another CM who said its the same menu. And that there is a differance between self serve buffett and all you can eat. It seems to me. it should just say Family style, all you can eat. on A side note. Today I recieved my planning kit from AKL...It has a dining guide and in the guide it's listed as family style. So I guess its the same.

TAMMYC... about the Catfish But, you can get the skillett without the catfish!!!! We get chicken only and its never been a problem.;)

Thanks twinmom for the info about not getting catfish. I just realized that I called it cartfish before! Oops! I was going to call WDW-DINE, but last time I called it took 15 minutes for my call to be answered (and it wasn't during the morning call rush). I knew somebody here could help out so I could save on my long distance bill! Thanks all.

What are the meal offerings?? I haven't eaten there in about 6 years, but was wanting to go again for the catfish. Here's what Deb's site listed.

Sunflower Seed Grain Bread w/ Honey Butter
Turkey and Dressing
BBQ Grilled Flank Steak
Mashed Potatoes
Vegetable
Bread
Dessert
Fountain Beverage

I'm not much on T & D outside of the holidays. Is this really it?

Thanks for the help!

That is about all that they give you. We go more for the atmosphere than the food. But actually, the last time we went, the flank stake was incredible!

Someone asked about characters; every time we have gone it was mickey, pluto, chip and dale - dressed as "farmers".

:D

The catfish was still there in January when we went. The characters were as stated by Disneydill, Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, all dressed as farmers. The character interaction was great and the food was superb. Its a must do for us on our trips.
