Garden Grill

[Cloudless Nights]

Does anyone have any thoughts/reviews about dinner at the Garden Grill? I just managed to score an ADR there for August and was wondering how it was lately. The last time we were there was for the Ice Cream Social, which was, I think, in 1999!

I was there in 2009 and 2010. I liked the food. It was nothing fancy, but I thought it was pretty good, especially the mahimahi. I also thought it was one of the more relaxed character meals. There weren't kids running around everywhere and it was quieter than the other character meals we went to.

We were there May 2010 and really enjoyed it. I especially liked the salad and the rolls were very yummy!!! All the food was good, those were just my favorites! It is on our list for our May 2012 trip as well. It was very relaxed and not crowded at all. The characters came by our table several times and were always very attentive and goofing off with my son. I got the best pictures at this meal. I think you will be very happy you made this ADR!!!

I really love the food there! It's simple and very fresh. Some of the food served there comes from the fish and veggies grown in The Land.

It is a MUST DO for our family!! Food is very good, character interaction is great,and it is kinda relaxing!

We just had dinner there Monday night ~ we had salad, fresh rolls w/ maple butter, turkey with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, beef with swiss chard and some type of butter (I forget what kind) and mahi-mahi with rice pilaf. Everything was very good, although I don't care for fish and DH said the mahi-mahi was a little dry. Service was great as were the characters, although DS2 got a little scared by the scenery. I also thought it was loud between the kitchen noises, other diners and sounds coming from the ride underneath the restaurant. We'd eaten there in '03 and I don't remember it being as loud then but I could just be sensitive to sounds right now.

We love the Garden Grill. It is one of our must do restaurants each time. The food has changed a few times in the last few years. They have changed the main courses and little (no more stuffing), but they still have good food. We loved the turkey this time. It's nothing over the top, just plain and simple. They also changed the dessert to a raspberry and peach cobbler. It was very good. The kids meals is mac and cheese, baked chicken drumsticks, and broccoli.

The character interactions are always good. We always enjoy the fact that the characters come to the table more than once during the meal.

This is our second time using the QSDP since we don't really want to be tied down to adr's for 10 days. But we are doing Garden Grill again OP. I love the salad, bread and fish. Garden grill and T-rex are our 2 Ts meals.
