Wow. This place does sound like a hidden gem! We'll we are going to give it a try! I'll take lot's pictures and post them. It's so weird that you never hear about this place. It sounds like a lot of people really like it. Maybe we should keep it a secret? hehe

somehow i had skipped this one for 5-trips, tried it last trip and just love it. now on my must do list. I don't even really care for character meals, but will suffer for the great food.

Does anyone know if they still serve the flank steak? it was to die for last feb. and I have been dreaming about it for a year, want more this feb. The bread pudding is unbelievable!

My friends liked the steak, I loved the catfish and the turkey, and the potato casserole we all were fighting over. Liked the cornbread, liked the veggies, liked everything. Atmosphere was relaxing and calm, except when my obnoxious travel companions started pulling Chip's tail every time he went by. That's okay, though...Pluto got him back by thwacking him "accidentally" in the head with his tail a couple of times! I'd go back.

We really enjoy the Garden Grill! The first time we ate there Chip had ds (then 4) laughing so hard he was lying in the seat and could barely get up! It was great.

The Garden Grill is on the upper level and Soarin' is on the bottom. The restaurant rotates slowly, so you don't stay in one spot.

Yes, I know this. Maybe I misspoke. Where is the best place to watch the "people" (95% of which are heading to or from Soarin'...as the restaurant rotates on that side.) I'd love to have one of those tables close to the railing, but don't know if there are different sections to the restaurant.

Ah, I see. You could just ask to sit on the lower level.

We also seek out the family style buffets...the food seems a bit better and I guess we are downright lazy! As for GG, I liked it a lot.....very quiet atmosphere and good food. DH didn't care for the catfish but he doesn't like fish to begin with. We are going back in Aug for sure!!

We love it too!!! First time we ever ate there was last year and it is a must do on this trip. My children loved seeing "farmer Mickey". It was very dead when we went there too so the characters just kinda hung out at our table.

I loved that we got adult food and our kids got chicken fingers and mac n cheese. Plus they got to make their cupcakes for dessert. Loved not having to do the buffet thing.

Where were all of you back when I was planning my ADRs for my May trip????

I almost cancelled it bc I read so many poor reviews of the food.

DH said oh just keep it, I am not standing in line for characters if the food stinks we will eat elsewhere later.

Well this was one of OUR FAVORITE meals and character experiences the whole trip. We were pleasantly surprised that we (esp me ) like the food after what we had read. DH is a food snob and he really liked it and I got some veggies into DS10 bc he wont eat raw and he liked their green beans from the adult plate.

The kids got decorate your own cupcakes for dessert. Very cute!
