I know that this restaurant spins slowly. Has anybody with motion sickness had any issues here? It does not make sense to eat somewhere that causes you to lose your appetite/
Admittedly, I don't suffer from motion sickness, but I can tell you it moves really, really, REALLY slowly. The only way I knew we were moving was that every time I looked up form the table, the scenery had changed some.
You absolutely cannot feel any motion. This is an extremely, very, terrifically SLOW revolution! I know I read it somewhere........but it takes something like 30 minutes for it to make one full circle.
While I don't usually get sick on rides or anything, I do get really bad carsickness if I don't have my Dramamine. I've never had any problems at GG, just try not to thhnk about it too much, and you should be fine.
When we ate at GG in June we were seated in a booth that was facing out towards the entrance (hadn't moved into the "scenery" yet). We don't get motion sick on anything, but passing the wall separating the outside of the restaurant from the inside scenery was kind of distracting. After we made it inside , it was fine. If you are really worried about it just ask to be seated somewhere that is already facing inside. It spins really slowly, we were there for lunch, and I think we had only made about 1/2 way around.
