Looking for a new character meal for this trip -- or maybe not.
We decided not to do the DDP this time - for 2 reasons (1) bound by ADRs and (2) we were way too full and missed all the good junk food (how about that for being a good parent). However, we still are going to do 3 TS meals :1 for DD, 1 for DS, and 1 for DH's birthday.

DD: going to do CRT (this will be a first for us).

DH: wants either Ohana breakfast, Ohana dinner or LTT dinner

I'm trying to think of one to surprise DS(12) with --

we've done the following character meals in the past: Ohana, Chef Mickey's dinner (nay), 1900 Park Faire, H & V, and Crystal Palace. His favorite character is Goofy. We did Sci Fi last trip for him and I asked him if he would want to go back and said "not really."

Any opinions on Garden Grill or any other suggestions? TIA!

How about Cape May Cafe for breakfast. It has Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale in beach attire?

My family and I love Garden Grill. We go there on every trip.

We have always had great character interaction and great service. Those 2 are always a plus in my book. :goodvibes

Cape May Breakfast, awesome food, great character interaction, Goofy is there!

I ate here for the 1st time this month. The character interaction was awesome, but the food not so much. Glad I went here, but do not see myself returning.

The character interaction is great but the food is terrible. Especially if you have picky eaters.

The Garden Grille is a must for us. They have great character interaction and we have always seen Goofy there. We have always had great food there too, but the characters are awesome!

We like the Garden Grill food. And we especially like that it is served family style--I hate buffets. We've always had really good character interaction there. It isn't a must do, but we really do enjoy it. We try and do it for lunch though, cheaper with the same food and characters.

Our must-dos are CM on arrival night (just sets the perfect mood) and LTT whenever we can get it. Everything else, character meal wise, is negotiable.

We thought the food was 'ok', the characters were great, but it did make me dizzy at times.

Oddly enough, after several family trips, this will be our first visit to Garden Grill. Really looking forward to it ! :thumbsup2

Went last week. So-so food. Kids liked the make your own cupcake. The rotating mechanism was broken, so we sat at the table outside the kitchen door...not so great.
If you are in it for the characters-they each came to our table 3 times. All our other character meals (LTT, CP, O'Hana) had a quick stop and dash for "interaction".

:thumbsup2 We had always heard so so reviews on it but this time in Jan. we finally took a chance and did it and we liked it and I also liked the fact that they use alot of the food grown right there below where you can see the ride going by. Cool!! It really helped my boys want to try veggies more.;)

We did Garden Grill on our vist. The food was horrible. Also it was our most expensive meal of the whole trip. We did the Tusker House breakfast and it had Goofy there. It was much better.
