Garden Grill without ADR

What are the chances of walking into Garden Grill for dinner without reservations? Any tips? It's a crowd level 6 with EPCOT is a good park to be at this date. It's a long story...I just want to know what are chances might be.

Hi,

Nobody here can give you can answer with any certainty. You can try it, but why not make an ADR for the time and date you think you will be there? ADRs are free and you can always cancel the ADR later.

Doesn't hurt to try. You're best off going during an off time...early for dinner or late for lunch. If you aren't able to get an ADR for Garden Grill, then you might want to get a slightly later ADR somewhere else as a back up plan.

What's a crowd level 6?

Garden Grill is not one of the more popular character meals but I still don't know the odds of your getting in without a reservation. If you really can't make a reservation, there is Sunshine Seasons, one of WDW's most highly rated CS, right in the same pavilion, which will help you if you are not trying to use up a DDP TS credit (if you have a dining plan credit to use you should probably consider making a reservation).

Oh wow, I hate to say this but - I don't think good. You can try - but we have a few times and it's never worked for me. If you can get an ADR, much better plan.

We actually have a ADR for the GG another day, but changed plans so might not be able to get to our ADR at GG. And I can't get a ADR for GG the day we'll actually be there.

We might try 4:30 - 4:45 pm and see what happens.

Just wanted to see what people's past experiences have been

If you have already tried and there are no ADR's available, that means the restaurant is already full and won't accept walk ins. However, there is always the chance of cancellations. Keep trying and maybe something will open up. Good luck.

I am assuming the OP means the UG crowd calendar.

The one time I ate at GG it was a walk in. It was a weekend in June and it was not a problem. Unless you want to eat at peak times, during very busy times, or during free dining I have found it much easier to walk into restaurants then these boards sometimes makes it seem.

Even when I was told by Disney reservations that nothing was available at some places I have walked up and been seated within 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend it during free dining, at 5:00 on a Saturday, or around Christmas but it isn't impossible to walk into many places.
