Hi All,

We're planning to eat our character meal at either the Graden Grill or Liberty Tree Tavern. However, there will be at least 6 of us, and possibly up to 9. We could probably split 6 and 3 people, but would definitely not want to split any smaller. I seem to recall that the Garden Grill is booths. If so, how many do they seat at the max? Two of the 6 are kids.

Is Liberty Tree Tavern at tables, and if so, could they push 2 tables together for 9 people? This might persuade us to try that instead.

TIA!

We had 10 at the Ice Cream Social at Garden Grill, 1 being in a wheel chair. They gave up a long table on the top row, not a booth. I think Garden Grill is closed right now and not to open again until May or June because of Soarin'.

We had 6 at LLT and had a round table.

Both were really fun. The food at LLT was enjoyable as well as the characters. We only had ice cream at GG but it was fun too. :teeth:

They have both booths and tables at the Garden Grille. I am sure they could find a way to meet your needs. The booths are on the lower, outer level and the tables are on the upper, inner level.

Just wanting you to watch the refurbishment calendar... the land has many things closed right now including the garden grill and the ice cream social... Both of which are FAB!!!

We were a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) at LTT this past December. No problem booking or dining. Believe LTT is all tables, but am not positive. I don't recall seeing any booths, though.

We saw several larger parties while we were there (I didn't count, LOL, but there were more than 6 at some of the tables, that's for sure), so I'm sure they could accomodate a party of 9. You might have to book it differently, though. Sometimes, Dining will not book large parties as 1 party if the restaruant doesn't have tables that big - just in case it doesn't work out to push tables together. You can call and ask.

In my experience, all the restaurants do everything they can to seat you at one table if that is at all possible. Probably depends on how busy they are when you show up to eat. Good luck!

Best wishes -

Just to remind everyone, the Garden Grill, and the entire Land Facility are cloed through the end of March for final preparations for Soarin'. If you are planning on going during this time I would call for the latest info on the Land.

Just FYI to the OP, I read on another thread that one of our board friends called to get a PS at Garden Grill and was told it will not reopen until June 2005. I noticed your trip is in April 2005, so this will help you make your decision!
