We were there last Oct. 19 for our 19th anniversary. We had noted we wanted the re-hitching ceremony and our kids were so excited. When I checked in I again mentioned this and she said it was noted. When we sat down I mentioned this to our server who then, much to my surprise, told us they had stopped doing this the previous week because there were a lot of cultures who found the kissing and the ceremony itself offensive. I was so disappointed and told my server that they should have told me when I checked in so I could have told the kids, DH, etc. 5 very disappointed kids who had been so looking forward to seeing Mom and Dad get married. You have to understand I don't celebrate anything for myself and this was a big deal for me to do this. Imagine my surprise when they performed an altered version of the re-hitching. No Mickey or Minnie, which was no big deal to us, just repeating funny vows. We got a great signed re-hitching ceremony and some great pics. It made my anniversary so special and I even wrote to Disney with the CM's name thank him for making this happen.
