Garden Grill rehitching ceremony??

We are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary when we travel to Disney in April. Can anyone fill me in on the Garden Grill rehitching ceremony- what is it, cost, and how do you arrange???

We "rehitched" at the Garden Grille in Epcot on October 6. It was fun. The CM's come to your table and announce to the room that you have been married for ,15 years in my case, and that you are going to be rehitched tonight. In our case, Mickey Mouse attended the rehitching ceremony. Goofy was there too. The ceremony was performed by a CM. I wont ruin the surprise for you but it was alot of fun. We also received a "rehitching" cake.

CM took photos for us. My 5yoDD video taped the ceremony.

When I posted my experience it got alot of response. Some had no characters at their rehitching and some received a certificate and no cake. I guess it depends on the time of year and how busy the restaurant is at the time. The food was good and served family style in a large cast iron skillet. The cake was fantastic! The revolving restaurant with different views was nice also. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

I forgot to mention that there is no fee for the ceremony. Just the price for the meal is all that is required.

We got rehitched for our 8th anniversary. We did it at the ice cream social. The restaurant was busy so we didn't have any characters at our ceremony but it was still fun. I reminded them at check in but they had it marked down already.
