Does anyone have any pictures of the food at the Garden Grill? I am trying determine where I'd like to eat while DH and I are in the World in December. We do one character meal (DH isn't going to wait in line to see characters, so this is my only way of getting pictures!) and I think we've determined that we will have breakfast at Ohana, but we are not opposed to two character meals. Problem is, I don't care much for catfish or turkey, so I guess I'm curious to see what the steak looks like. They will bring as much as you like, correct?

Or if no picks, any thoughts on this restaurant? How is the steak? Is it only served one way (medium, medium well, well done?) and/or can you request how it is served?

I dont have any pics of the food, but I do have several of the characters on my trip report.
I liked the food but it wasn't the best... better than average for a character meal though...

The characters and the theme is what really makes this place great!!!!
Here is a link to page 4 of my trip report with pics of my kids having fun with the characters:

You sound a lot like me. :) DH, DS, & I went in January. No pics of the food. I didn't want to have to explain to DH what I was doing. :) I'm not a huge fan of steak or turkey and I don't eat fish, so it might seem an odd choice. I don't remember them asking us how we'd like the steak, they just brought it out. I'd call it medium-well, at least. The turkey was okay and I actually tried one bite of the catfish because I kept being told how un-fishy it was. (It WAS fairly un-fishy, but, it was still fish.) However, I LOVED the veggies. The potato casserole was great. The green beans & carrots were properly cooked (although I like mine a little more cooked generally speaking.) DH was happy because he got to eat all the meat he could handle and I was happy because there was plenty of other food. Dessert was great, too, although DH ony tried one bite. He really is the carnivore in our crew. DS was happy eating a piece of cornbread. He never really touched his mac & cheese or chicken finger. I think he ate a couple of fries, but that was more so he could suck the ketchup off. *sigh*

So, basically, the short-winded answer was, even without eating much of the meat, I was stuffed when we walked out the door.

These are older pictures (06), but the food hasn't changed much. We didn't take GG food pictures on our more recent trip. Everything was pretty good! I especially liked the catfish (and I'm generally not a seafood person) and the veggies were great--fresh and crisp!

I have never eaten at GG but I really want to! We ate at the Sunshine Seasons Food Fair and thought it was some of the best food we had all trip. They are both in the land and I heard they use the same source for food. So fresh! The atmosphere, rotating around the attraction, is very cool.
