which do you think is best for a group of adults for breakfast. we want to do a character meal and these two fit into our park plans. is any better food wise. will be a PPO
Garden Grill, definitely. Our food was delicious and fresh, the character interaction was great and the restaurant felt a little quieter and less chaotic than most characters meals I've done. It's also nice that they bring your food to your table. Crystal Palace is ok but it's really loud and busy and I probably wouldn't do it if I didn't have kids with me.
All my trips are adult only and we have eaten at both. We enjoy both, but we found that Crystal Palace had a wider variety of food. Crystal Palace has the ability to customize a bit more as they have a create your own omelet station as well as a wider variety of fruit and pastries. I also love the Pooh's French Toast and the breakfast lasagna. We do Garden Grill more for the Candlelight Processional Dining Package.
They are both good. Crystal Palace is a buffet, so will offer a bigger variety of food. It is a bit chaotic, though, IMHO. GG is family style and, as others have said, with a PPO, will offer a Soarin' advantage. Can't really go wrong with either!
I agree with this 100%! GG breakfast is awesome! Food is so fresh and delish. Chip & Dale are quite rare to dine with, so thats a huge plus. Also, you can head straight to Soarin after. Huge bonus! I love that GG is family style....no need to rush to the buffet in fear of missing the characters. Its a very relaxing character breakfast. While I do love CP, GG is amazing and I highly recommend it. its one of my faves. Not only is the cinnamon bun superb, they also have choc sauce for the mickey waffles!
I like both, and I think Garden Grill has more of an adult atmosphere, as the views of the ride below might appeal more to adults. Foodwise there is more variety at CP but I like the quality a little better at GG, although both are good.
Those are my 2 favorites! I'd say it depends on which fits into your plans better. Also, do you have a preference for a buffet or a family style meal? Would you rather see Winnie the Pooh and friends or Mickey and Chip and Dale?
I will say that the Garden Grill seemed quite a bit quieter.
I'd choose Garden Grill. It's more leisurely as it's served family style-no getting up for the buffet line. Ask for a table on the first level- you get a better view of the land ride.
Another vote for Garden Grill. Its smaller you will see the characters more than once. You don't have to worry about coming back to the table as characters come near because they will bring the food to you.
