I'm going to Epcot on Sat. Dec. 9th. I've made all my ADR's and I currently am going to 1900 Park on that night. I've also wanted to try Garden Grill. I already have an ADR for Chef Mickey's and CRT during my trip too so I'm going to miss out on the costumed characters, but we really want to meet Cinderella and I'm told she doesn't meet guests at CRT dinner so should I go with another costumed character meal at the Garden Grill which will be easier since I'm in the park that day or should I go to 1900 Park fare since we really want to meet cinderella and there is no guarantee that she'll be at CRT anyway? I only have 1 TS credit left on the dining plan so I can't go to both. Any suggestions? :confused3

I have been to both and I love Garden Grill! Fantastic food and an all around fun place to eat! You get to meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip, & Dale! I loved it there and can't wait to go back! :) I didn't think the food was so great at 1900 Park Fare and the characters are not as much fun either, in my opinion. We saw the Fairy Godmother outside, Prince Charming, Cinderella, and the two girl mice. If it was my choice, I would go to Garden Grill. I know I will be going back there, but would not make a 2nd trip to 1900 Park Fare.

We like both places. Several years ago, we had a bad experience at Garden Grill, but on recent trips both the menu and the service was much better. I think that 1900 Park Fare is the best of the character buffets.

If I had to choose only one, it would be 1900....but both are good places.

We love, love, love 1900 PF! My daughter is a Cinderella maniac and for her second birthday we opted to go there to see her since we couldn't get into CRT (this was long before the recent changes at CRT.) This was one of the best meals of the trip. It is now one of only two restaurants that we make a point of repeating every trip (the other is 'Ohana.)

The food is AWESOME (I love the strawberry soup), we always see the characters several times, we love that it is in the GF since we don't stay there and are wowed by the atmosphere, and it's a quick hop over to the MK afterwards.

I'd say stick with 1900 this trip and try Garden Grill the next time around.

I don't know about 1900 Park Fare...we are trying it out this December. However, we've been to the Garden Grill several times and out of the 7 different character meals we've tried, it's our ds5 and ds9's favorite. We've always had great service, great food and the best character interatction of any meal we've been to.

On the other hand, we've been 2 CM twice and found it to be rather disappointing each time.

Our favorite buffet character meal is the Crystal Palace.

We went to Garden Grill on our last visit.Everyone loved the dinner. The characters, Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale, were great. The kids had a blast. When we finished, we walked out to Illuminations. Also, we did CRT for dinner and we did meet Cinderella in the lobby. The kids had their pictures taken with her. When we came out, there was no one waiting, so Cinderella came over and talked to the kids while we waited for everyone.
