Garden Grill Opinions and Questions for Vegetarian

How is the food/character interaction at GG? We've never done this charcter meal and have a reservation for next week. One adult is a vegetarian- The menu doesn't seem to have many options. Do they offer anything other than what is posted on the menu?

I can't speak for the vegetarian question you've posed, but the character interaction is possibly the best at the parks. In fact any time we've come across Chip 'n' Dale, we've gotten great interaction. Last year, Dale indicated to us that Chip didn't bathe or use deodorant. This year, they were still great. We've even suggested that adding Donald would be great since most of the cartoons were with him. Hopefully someone can come and let you know about the vegetarian options. However, if no one does, I recommend calling Disney Dining and asking them. They should be able to help you with that question.

I've never eaten at the Garden Grill, but my vegan sister has had excellent results from calling table service restaurants a week before her adr. If you give them notice, they can be prepared to make an entree not normally on the menu.

I agree with PP about this quite possibly being the best character interaction at WDW. When we went there for dinner on our Disneymoon (2008) Chip took my camera out of my hand grabbed us by the arms, drug us around the restaurant (making a big scene lol) and positioned DH and I in front of the cliff scence with the full moon and took our picture. Then he handed my camera to a nearby patron and squeezed between DH and I to be in the next picture.

We love Garden Grill!! Its a must every year for my girls. The characters are so funny and play with my girls! Last year they were playing with there stuffed animals. Food is really yummy also. Make sure you ask for a booth in the rotating section, it rotates around the Living with the Land ride!
