Have never eaten at either, trying both this time, but was cruising the menus and I get the feeling that they serve a lot of the same food, is this true? Is it served differently, or are you going to feel like you have eaten the same things? Trying to decide if I should change my Liberty Tree ressie to something else? Opinion anyone?

We love LTT and thought Garden Grill was a very poor substitute for LTT which was closed on our last visit. Very disappointed in the food and the service.

The bread is different, the salad dressing is different, 2 of the 3 proteins are different, the dessert is different. Garden Grill has characters but LTT doesn't. Other than that, yeah they're the same.

I like LTT for lunch and GG for dinner food wise. But if on DDP, then lunch at LTT is not your best value.

I love LTT at lunch, and Garden Grill for dinner. Food at GG and LTT at dinner is VERY different - plus GG has characters. In comparing the dinner service - to me - LTT felt very much like cafeteria food for food, but GG seemed a step above that. Presentation was better, the meats were better, and I think it feels less crowded that LTT - so the experience is different. If GG didn't rotate - I'd go more often - but I can't handle the rotation very well. And now with the ham substitution for pork roast at LTT that was announced - we probably won't be back to LTT for dinner anytime soon.

On the other hand - LTT is in my top choices for in park TS lunch. I think the pot roast served at lunch is just fabulous. I've also always had great service there at lunch - the servers just seem to know how to do a great job and connect to the needs of the party at the table.

Food wise, it's the same for me because I would be eating turkey at both places. But the atmospheres are different so I would book both places, but I would not book them to have a few days between them.

I could live w/o LTT for dinner. It was ok. Similar in that they are family style (they bring it to you) and the food was decent. Yes they both bring you A LOT of food. I would say that for dinner of 2 they bring you enough of everything for 4 people at both places.
We did GG for lunch about a year ago and the food was awesome and some of the best character interaction I've ever had at a character meal. Both DH and I said we'd go again. LLT - meh. Maybe for lunch but it's ala carte at lunch. DH likes the AYCE options and usually only eats once a day when we eat like that.
