Garden Grill in the Land at Epcot?

We ate here for lunch and liked the food and atmosphere very much. I must admit, however, that the motion of the restaurant rotating did make me a little dizzy:p After awhile I did get used to it though. They serve everything in a skillet and it's all you care to eat. I thought our particular waitress overdid as she kept bringing food out even though we told her we were full. I felt bad wasting all that food.

In a word...YUM! DH has to eat here every trip. If you are looking for gourmet, this isn't it. If you are looking for good tasting, home cookin' type food, this is it. We usually eat lunch here and it really hits the spot after walking all over Epcot from the morning. It's familiar food and everyone eats a lot and gets full so that we can continue on with the day.

I wouldn't worry about the rotating. It's VERY slow. The characters are great. This is one place where I think character interaction is at its best.

My DH and I never miss this one either. The food is good and you get as much as you want. The rotation is so slow that I really don't realize that we are moving and the CM's are great. The characters always seem to take a lot of time with everybody including us adults traveling alone. It is also a nice quiet spot to rest from the hustle and bustle of the parks. We also have only done lunch here.

We are trying to make this a regular spot for us to eat dinner. We really like the food ~ salad with veggies from The Land, yummy bread then the food as said in a big skillet (steak, fish, chicken, potatoes and stuffing I think) plus a nice dessert. It is all you can eat and the characters spend quite a bit of time at each table. We really like it there. The characters are in "Farmer Gear". Hope you enjoy :p

Especially like that the characters will be in farmers gear - that will make it all the more fun

Thanks
Jason

DH and I ate at Garden Grill earlier this month and really enjoyed it. We were surprised...the food was really good. It's nothing fancy, but really good. :) The charcters (mickey, pluto, chip and dale) were great, too. They look so cute dressed in their farmer attire. It took us a few mintues to get used to the rotation...we were okay if we looked out, but if we looked at the inside sunflower wall, we felt a little strange. The rotation really is slow, though...CM said it takes about 55 minutes to make a full rotation.

We'd eat here again! :)

We tried the Garden Grill for the first time on our last trip, and absolutely loved it! It's on our list again for this year.

The food is served family style in large skillets, all you care to eat. You start with fresh bread and a caesar type salad. Next the skillets, with flank steak, chicken, catfish, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, other veggies, and stuffing.

You also get a dessert which changes from time to time. We had lemon meringue tarts. While you are eating, the restaurant revolves around, and you see changing scenery from the Land boat ride.

A very pleasant surprise for dinner, I would definitely recommend!:):):)

We also loved the garden grill for dinner. The food and characters were great. I would definitely go back.:D

This is one of the most underrated restaurants in my opinion. The food is great and the character interaction is one of the best we've experienced.

Again, many thanks for the feedback

Much appreciated

Just made a PS for trip with DS

Thanks
Jason

Good food, but our service was awful. We were the first seating for lunch and had all other tables turn over 2 x's before we got out of there! We didn't even have time for the dessert as it was 1 hour 45 min. into the meal and we had test track fast passes. Chip kept missing our table with 2 little boys (disappointed!) I complained to the server and management who only took 10% off which didn't even pay for our dessert that we missed. I used to work at Disney and have a 4 yr. degree in restaurant management so my expectations were definately NOT met. All other dining experiences in WDW were above par! Just be sure to complain early if your server is poor. I waited way too long. Our bill was still 80+ dollars for lunch.

This is a must for us at lunch also. DH insists we eat here and DD's agree. He loves the food and they love the character interaction and the dirt for dessert. :D Jenn

MY BEST FRIEND & I WENT HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST MAY & ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. IT WAS HER 30TH BIRTHDAY & THEY MADE HER STAND UP WITH MICKEY SO THAT EVERYONE COULD SING(MUCH TO HER DISLIKE). THE CHARACTERS WERE GREAT & SO WAS THE FOOD. SINCE IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY, THEY BROUGHT US A CAKE COMPLETE WITH A SPARKLER & A BIRTHDAY CARD SIGNED BY ALL THE CHARACTERS. WE HAD A GREAT TIME & DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE ROTATIONS..I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR EVERYONE.

I'm not a salad guy by any stretch of the imagination. But, the salad they served was really good.

Also, the desert that they gave our daughters was "worms and dirt". It was gummy worms in a cup of chocolate mouse and crushed Oreos. They loved it.

My family LOVES the Garden Grille. The food is served family-style. We ALWAYS ask for seconds! It's priced right.

We have a PS for when we go home in 17 days!

I hope this helps.
