Hi everyone!

I constantly check the September cancelled thread and the online reservation system, but I'm not having much luck. The cancelled thread seems to be almost exclusively BOG reservations (and not for the days I'm there, but oh well).

If anyone is cancelling the following, please let me know:

9/19-Dinner, Garden Grill

I haven't seen a reservation available for GG during my trip for over a month of checking multiple times. Is this normal? My research on the DIS hasn't suggested that Garden Grill would be this hard to get.

Thanks!

I have had the same problem for our Sept trip. Nothing at GG, which is so strange (but I'm assuming due to free dining). Anyway, I just went online this evening and two openings for Saturday the 14th showed up that weren't there before. I snagged the 4:25 one. There was also a 6:50 one. I know this isn't the day you were looking for, but keep checking...there is hope! :-)

Actually Garden Grill can be hard to get. It's only open for dinner, free dining in September, character meal and a relatively small restaurant (according to "The Complete WDW" book it has virtually the same capacity as Le Cellier).

It does require a credit card guarantee so keep checking online every day since people will cancel if their plans change because of the financial penalty. Cancellations go back into the reservation system almost immediately so it's a matter of luckily being online checking when one re-enters the system. Also if you can be flexible about the date or time, you have more chances of snagging a cancellation.

Thank you both for your replies. Unfortunately, I won't be in Disney yet on the 14th and I've been able to book most of my ADRs, so the 19th is the day that's open for dinner (and a day that we have park tickets).

I guess I'll just keep checking and hope for the best. I'm still checking for Crystal Palace for breakfast on the 17th too, but I already knew that would be hard to get.
