Garden Grill for Lunch

We are considering changing one of our Character meals to the Garden Grill for lunch. The menu looks good, but I was wondering what people who had been there thought of the meal and the characters.

We went in Feb for lunch and loved it. The food was delicious, we had both the adult meal and the kids' in our group. I love that it's served family style and you can get more of whatever you need. The characters came around frequently and were attentive. The kids loved the decorate your own cupcake desserts, and the adult dessert was yummy, too! This is definitely on my list of "do agains".

Our oldest DD is about to turn 17. Our other two children are DS/10 and DD/8. The oldest says that you can absolutely not go to Epcot and not eat at Garden Grill!!!!!!!She loves it! The others love it too! I really do not think you will regret changing your ADR to Garden Grill!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to Garden Grill for lunch and had a terrific time. The food was very good and the character interaction was great! My three kids loved it. We had an early lunch reservation (11:10 I think) and we were seated right away.
We will definately do this again.

Garden Grill is our favorite character meal at WDW. The food is awesome and the character interaction is fantastic. The restaurant is set up in a way that you have a great deal of privacy. When the characters are at your table they are totally yours. My DS19, DD15, and DS6 all love it.

Another rave for garden Grille. The food is excellent, the servers are great, and the characters are very attentive. Ask for a table on the outer ring, then the kids can go to the rail easily if they want to see the scenes up close. And best of all, it's QUIET, which is very rare in a character meal. You'll love it!!!

We also love the Garden Grill....it's our ds9 and ds5's favorite character meal at WDW. We've been to 6 other character meals, and it's always had the best character interaction of any of them.

Garden Grill is great. Atmosphere is subdued (unlike other character meals). Food is delicious. One of the best character interactions you can find.

The food is great, the service was great, and the characters were very attentive and it really couldn't have been better. It's very rich food though, and a lot of it. I wouldn't miss it for anything.

We just did GG in June and it was the highlight of our day. Mickey rubbed noses with DS and then kissed Grandma's hand! Dale tried to get the kids to give him their cupcakes. The atmosphere was awesome and the kids loved seeing the Living with The Land boats!

Glad to read so many great reviews. We are going to the world with my dad (in his 70's) in November and would love to do a character meal but do not know if he could handle the noise at Chef Mickey's. We will also do Liberty Tree Tavern which we have done in the past and loved.

We ate there two times. It was great. Lunch is the better choice, because I think the only difference is that the dinner has a salad, but the cost is several dollars more. The character interaction is great. Go for it.

Food was different than the "normal" stuff, but good!

Character interaction was good, too.

It was my nephew's birthday and Pluto howled as the rest of us sang happy b-day. I thought I was going to fall out of the chair I was laughing so hard.
