How is this meal, is it worth a try? Also for people that have a problem with motion, does this restaurant still spin slowly and has it made anyone sick?
My husband and I ate here in September for the first time and we loved it! It is a must-do for us now. As for the motion sickness, DH is very very sensitive to spinning and he wasn't bothered by the rotation of the restaurant one bit. It's so subtle that it's hardly noticeable.
Here is a link to my review for Garden Grill. I took lots of pictures in there of both the characters and the food. Hope this helps!
This was our favorite character meal and one of our favorites overall! The food was VERY good. The maple butter is awesome on the rolls and that is just the start. The salad was excellent - with homemade ranch dressing that my husband who doesn't like ranch - thought was good and went for seconds. The fish, steak, and turkey are also excellent - we were so stuffed we barely ate any of our berry cobbler and were disappointed that we had to leave it behind!
This is a definite must do for us on future visits. (And as a side note - we thought this was the best character interaction we had and we did 4 character meals).
As far as the spinning - my husband gets motion sickness and did fine.
I think we would be interested in trying it out from the sounds of it. My daughter gets severe fast migraines, but when at disney she takes daily bonamine for motion sickness so that may work.
Where are the best tables there, and do we do a request.
We ate here last Sept. and I had a slight headache before we went to the restaraunt and it actually got worse (don't know if it was form the motion) but I actually had to leave and go sit down and wait for everyone else to finish. As far as the food we thought it was surprisingly pretty good. The kids liked seeing Chip and Dale and the characters did spend some time at the tables. Not sure if we would do it again though. HTH!
