Garden Grill for Character lunch??

I had made reservations at the garden grill for lunch w/ Mickey and Chip&Dale. I made them for 2:30 on a Monday. Is this a good time to go? Should we go earlier or later? Has anyone did the character lunch there? Is it worth it? Thanks alot.

We love the character lunch there and think it's worth the extra money. Tony's is a few dollars less for lunch. We like a 2:00 PS which makes a nice afternoon break. When we did that last time we practically had the restaurant and the characters to ourselves. My 3 kids and 2 characters played Ring Around the Rosie in the aisle. We had a charater at our table non-stop for 30 min. besides having them stop by plenty before that. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty, and the service was excellent. We had the best case scenario experience, and I've been there another time and really enjoyed it without such exclusivity with the characters. For our family it's an absolute must.

Ditto what Travelitis said. This was one of the nicest character meals we've ever done. Very relaxed, lots of one-on-one time with the characters, and the food was, surprisingly, very good. The characters even took time to sit down with us.

This is the BEST character meal at DW! I think you will be happy with the 2:30 seating because (as others have said) the restaurant won't be as crowded and your children will get more attention from the characters. The food is excellent too!

In the past we usually dined here for lunch because the prices were lower. I understand that this isn't the case anymore.

But whatever you pay, you will feel as if you got your money's worth.

BTW if you have APs don't forget the AP lounge (if it is still opened). This lounge is a really cool place for additional character interaction.
