Garden Grill - children's menu

Howdy.

We have a reservation for the Garden Grill for lunch. We have 3 children, the oldest (10) is now of course 'adult' according to WDW. He is a picky eater and most likely won't eat the adult food as part of this. Does anybody know if they will give him a kids meal even if we pay for the adult portion? I assume Yes, but wanted to see. I don't mind paying the extra for his meal (sort of).

He can have either. For the kids they have chicken fingers and mac and cheese as well as a deco your own cupckae for dessert.
