Garden Grill: Character Interaction

We are planning a trip to Disney for Feb. 2022. DD LOVES Chip and Dale. I see that Garden Grill is open. How is the character interaction currently? I do hope it improves by Feb. 2022. Thanks!

I went in august and they stood behind the tables. We were seated in the front section booths. The characters would stand behind the booths on the second floor area and wait for photos. Who knows by February 2022 maybe things will change and be a bit more interactive

Yes! I had a large group of 8 and the characters patiently waited while I did different pictures. It was nice because they really made the effort to stop behind each table. We did chef Mickey and topolino that week as well. Garden grill was the only one where I got nice pics with the characters directly behind everyone.

Character interactions at Garden Grill are really good and quite frequent right now. They came by about 6 times when last I ate there, this past November.
