Hi all!

We could not get an ADR for 9 for GG, so we split into 2 ADRs for 5 and 4 at the same time.

2 members of our party may not be able to go on the trip anymore, and we’ll know in the next month.

If I cancel the table for 4, I might be able to change the table for 5 to 7 on one ADR, but maybe not. Is the system the phone CMs use the same? If I ask them if they can cancel the table for 4 and adjust our table of 5 to 7, will they have to cancel the 4 to see if they can then adjust the ADR for 5? I don’t want to be stuck with just one reservation for 5 and shut anyone from our group out.

We would be fine at 2 tables of 4 & 3, but of course would prefer to be together if possible. And I know we can always just keep it as 2 ADRs and ask at the podium as well, but obviously that’s not a guarantee.

Let me know what you would do!

I would just try to modify one of the original ADRs to 7 without canceling the other. Plenty of time to cancel it after you confirm one for 7. That way you still have both if you are unable to get one for 7.

Don't cancel anything until you get the table size you want. As PP said, keep trying to modify both of them to what you want. If you can't get it, at least you have the two ADRs and everyone can eat. You won't be penalized for having fewer than you reserved for, but there's a good chance you all won't be allowed in with more people than you have a reserved.
