Garageband

Would it be worth it to get a used Mac or macbook just for Garageband? I used garageband in a workshop a few times, and i was blown away by the sounds and samples, a huge step up from what i use. Any input would be appreciated. OR does anyone know of a Garageband for the PC (ive used Mixcraft and FL Studio)

I'm sure you can buy nice software for PC for a lot less than the cost of a whole new computer.

Buy a Mac for the whole package, not for one program, unless your business depends on it - in which case Garageband is still just an entry level program.

I should probably clarify lol. Would it be worth a USED Mac from EBay? Deffinatly not a full thousand dollar computer for a single program lol

If you are simply looking at spending some disposable income on something to have fun with I would do it. I am a huge apple fanboy but I would make sure that you get a good price before you do this. On that note, GarageBand is great for someone that just wants to have some fun doing audio stuff.
