Clearly this is a UNION sponsored ad. I don't have any problem with its viewpoint, but I'd like to see some documentary evidence of the charges made.......

Obviously because its union sponsored it cannot be trusted. The report linked above does seem to be well researched and has contact numbers if you would like to speak with some of the interviewed workers.

Since we all gotta buy clothes...

Perhaps you could list some retailers who have been documented NOT to use "sweatshop labor" or purchase clothes from suppliers who use "sweatshop labor", with the appropriate links to the research? (not just some that haven't been thoroughly researched).

Its my understanding that even if the specific charges are true, this is not an issue unique to the Gap.

After all, it won't really help the issue if I buy at Aeropastale instead, if their factory is right next door to the Gap's, using the same labor practices.
