My DH is really into Games Workshop/Warhammer/model or comic shops etc. Are there any shops of this type in Orlando? It would be ideal if there is as I could leave him there while DD and I shop elsewhere!

DD really likes Animal/***********/Roxy/surf clothes. Again, are there any shops of this type in Orlando? I can't remember from last year as she was not into that type of clothes then so wasn't looking. When we go in August she will just be a teenager and now has her own style/fashion sense!

There are a few surf shops in Orlando.

The best one for you perhaps is the Quiksilver store that sells 'Roxy', it is on the second floor at the Mall At Millenia.

Also there is the Ron Jon surf store at Festival Bay Mall.

One or two others including Boardwalk surf store on the 192 in Kissimmee at :
6113 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy
(West U.S. Hwy 192)
Kissimmee, FL 34747
(407) 396-6960

Quiet Flight surf store at Universal citywalk is also very good for all clothing of this type, including Roxy.

I take the stars are Quick Silver clothing?

Claire ;)

Most surf type stores sell those clothing labels, you also get a selection at Blizzard Beach, my dd bought Roxy t-shirts shorts and a pink Hoodie form there:thumbsup2

My DD's are huge fans of surf shops, and they're saving like mad for a blow out when we go back. We've never been to Ron Jons at Festival Bay (and if the girls have their way, that's where we're going after we check-in), so they are really looking forward to going there. Other favourites are Hollister and PacSun at the Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia

Hide your Credit Cards if you go to Ron Johns Mandy!:rotfl: It's a great store, both my dd's loved it, but my purse didn't:rolleyes1

I seem to remember a small selection of Quick Silver clothing in Downtown Disney Marketplace - next to the Disney sports shop.

You can generally get Quiksilver at many department stores, plus the odd shop at the Disney & Universal parks.
However, their own store at the Mall At Millenia I refer to earlier in the thread is the biggest and best.

I have also added Quiet Flight to my earlier post as I forgot about that one!

There's a comic shop on Central Florida Parkway on the same plaza as the Publix there. (Travelling south on I Drive, turn left at the crossroads as you see Seaworld on your right, Publix is about a mile along).
It does Manga/Anime, Marvel etc. There was a thread about this last year but I'm not a fan so didn't take much notice. There did seem to be loads though.
There's a Marvel shop next to the Spiderman ride in Islands of Adventure.

There's a Roxy/Quicky/Animal type shop in the City Walk - DD bought some bits from here last August.

Also, TJMaxx (like our TK Maxx) stock really up to date stuff, I'm sure there will be a couple of those around. We hit the Boston and Killington ones big time whilst over in Vermont/Mass. and DD and our friend's kids were really well kitted out for a fraction of what we'd pay over here. They were selling a HUGE range of clothing - Roxy t-shires at $10; Quicky shorts for $15:cool1:

Thanks for the heads up Audrey, I'll make sure we go only if the girls have their dosh with them :rotfl: :thumbsup2
