Games to play while waiting in line?

Hi all - we keep our kids entertained (or try to) by playing games in line or while waiting for the bus.

They are 8 & 5. Our reportoire of "I spy", "guess my disney character in 20 questions or less," and "A my name is Anna" is getting worn.

Anyone have any new ideas to keep the kiddies entertained?

Here's a game we play in the car - I don't know if it will work standin in line. The alpahbet game! You have to find the letters of the alphabet around you as the first letter of a word you see. In the car you use road signs, vehicles, bumper stickers, and so forth.

The other thing I like to do is just start looking up. Maybe point up to your friend and have them look up. Then look around at all the people staring upwards trying to figure out what you were looking at! That's fun.

We play the picnic game where you have to repeat the entire list and keep adding things ( I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing sandwiches. Next; I'm bringing sandwiches and lemonade. Next: I'm bringing sandwiches, lemonade and ice cream. etc.) Only you can do it with Disney rides, Disney characters and so on

Rock, Paper, Scissors is DGF's and my all time favorite line game. We add to it by letting the winner punch the loser in the arm. (DGF is tough!...and she hits hard.)
