Gameboys on airplanes???

This may be a silly question but can my kids play their Gameboys during a flight? We usually drive to Florida so I'm out of practice flying. I hear about cellphones and laptops not allowed at certain times and wonder if the same holds true for electronic games. Thanks!

We flew last week and there were no problems with gameboys. They follow the same regulations as any other electronic device. Cell phones are never allowed to be used while in flight.

Gameboys can not be used during takeoff and landing. The pilot or flight attendant will announce when it it OK to use electronic equipment and when you need to stop.
