I notice you're posting from Long Island; know that our thoughts and prayers are with you concerning the approaching hurricane. I hope you're taking the warnings seriously. Trust me, don't wait until the last minute to evacuate if you need to. We're 75 miles northwest of Houston and evacuation traffic through our town from Hurricane Rita was a nightmare! I would hate for you and your family to go through that. Bumper to bumper (3 lanes of cars on our 2 lane highway through the city) for 12-15 hours. No gas, no food at grocery stores, short tempers and exhausted travelers/ residents. DH directed traffic 10 hours straight w/o breaks. Take heed my friend and good luck.
